Good to know
Do I need to download anything from an app store?
No. The Makell app is a web app, so you install it straight from your browser using "Add to Home Screen." It launches full-screen with its own icon, just like an app from the App Store — without the wait or an account review process.
I just signed up. Why can't I get in yet?
Every new member is reviewed and approved by our care team before access is granted — this protects everyone in the practice. You'll see a "pending approval" screen after signing up, and the app moves you in automatically the moment you're approved (usually within one business day).
Is the app free for members?
Yes — the app is included with every Makell membership. If you're not a member yet, explore our plans and get started.
Can I have video visits on my phone?
Yes. Video visits work directly in the app on your phone, tablet, or computer. You'll need to allow camera and microphone access when you join a visit.
What if I have trouble installing it?
No problem — email care@makellhealthandwellness.com and we'll walk you through it. You can also use the app in your browser at any time without installing it.
